In-humane Treatment is the Culture

Tennessee Walkers are subjected to horrific "training" methodologies including soring (using mustard oil or other caustic substances on the anus to raise the tail height), chains, elevated shoes and the breaking of the tail bone (to get the sharp, pointed carriage). It's clear why this organization has no issue with the captive bolt.

 These chains are wrapped around the horses front legs, cutting into the skin. Elevated shoes lift the horse in an unnatural way, all to make the horse lift even more in their gate.
