Brego's Winning Race

Brego's registered name is Captain Dudley, sired by Yoonevano out of Seattle Slew. The photo above was provided to me by Terry Black, the breeder of Brego, who was extremely happy that he had found a good home. She was kind enough to send me his yearling photo as well, pictured below.

Brego's listing on Columbia Basin Equine Rescue's Website. He arrived at the feedlot on April 29th, 2007. No one knows where he was from his last race at Portland Meadows in February 2006 until he showed up here 14 months later. Obviously, his care was less than ideal.

 knee chip
Brego's Right Knee: Three chips were removed from the knee on August 15th, 2007. One is visible on this x-ray. Knee chips are common racing injuries and can end a career if not given immediate attention.
